The beautiful wall paintings of the forty columns are only one of its attractions. The reflection of the twenty columns of the hall in the pond in front of the palace creates an impression of forty columns. Hence, it is known as Chehel Sotoon. The architecture of this palace is a combination of Chinese, Iranian and French architecture.
